Kerry and Bush's Supreme Court "Wish List"

So, we know that whoever wins the election this November would likely select a Justice of the Supreme Court. Law.com posted two articles on who would likely be Bush and Kerry's respective candidates.

President Bush would select Justices that support "strick construction" or purpose of a statute or "original intent" of words drafted in a very different place and time. The president has publicly praised Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas for being strict constructionist.

On the other hand, Kerry would pick a "judge's judge, whose opinions are guided by the facts and the law, and not by any liberal or conservative" political philosophy. While Bush favors Justices who would support strict construction, President Kerry's picks would likely not overlook the purpose of a statute or constitutional provision.
